Word 2011 For Mac Change Color Of Followed Hyperlink

пятница 24 января admin 37

Jul 25, 2016  On one occasion, I receive an email from a product service provider, in which all hyperlinks are in a special font and purple color without underlines. It looks rather interesting. Actually, using Outlook and Word for decades, I am extremely tired of the default hyperlink style, just in blue and with underlines. I hope to change it as well.

By default, Word recognizes network and hyperlink addresses and formats them much as you would see them appear on a Web page. Normally, this means that the text shows up as blue and underlined. Word provides the ability for you to change the way in which hyperlinks are formatted throughout your document. This is because default formatting for hyperlinks is done using a defined character style.

By default, whenever I create a hyperlink, Outlook turns the text color into blue and underlines it.

This is of course very recognizable but also not very modern as most web designs no longer underline hyperlinks. I’m also simply a bit bored with the blue.

Is there any way I can remove this default underline and change the color into for instance our company’s color (green)?

While the blue color and underline of hyperlinks makes them very recognizable for the receiver, there are good reasons to change it in some cases.

For instance, it can increase readability, especially when there are many links in a short message, or it simply clashes with the other (background) colors in the currently selected template or stationery.
